Like the slidey. Useful

Am wondering (demand, demand, demand that's all those never satisfied Fetchies do) if there could be some notification if there is further activity on a blog one has commented on? Not just read, but left a comment? It would negate endless clicking back on the same blog. Would it be hideously complicated?

I really don't like it. I always open a new tab from the New Notifications link. Now I just get "javascript:void". This makes me sad. :-( I really hate things that look like links to an actual page but aren't.

Belay that. Wrote a blog, got a comment, received a notification. Easy!

I like your slidey very much. :-)

Straight to the point :-)

Quimby - if it didn't have an actual anchor tag around it, but still used cursor:hand, would that be better? Purer HTML? TBH, the only reason it still has an anchor tag round it is because of the way I'd done the CSS. Hopefully you can see the merits of avoiding another server trip though?

Could it be a bit more, erm.. dancy? Might just be me on the iPhone but I zoom in, click the thang and it just looks like a bit of grey.
