I was looking for a small water bottle and came across this

ultramarathonrunningstore.com

Could that be a solution?

For those saying "Sis gels have arrows pointing to the direction you need to open them" I do realise that, and am not blind, or stupid :-)

This thread has made me very glad I stick with jelly babies. Remove from pocket, lift towards direction of mouth, chew with half open mouth in disgusting fashion, swallow towards direction of stomach, rub the residual sugar on the gums, job done.

I've just looked at a SIS gel.

Yes, there is a little dotted line of arrows to help you open it.

But on both sides, it goes from left to right, so tearing isn't direction specific.

REAL runners don't open gels at all; just swallow the packet whole.

My poor teeth won't do gel biting.

TORQ have redesigned their gel packaging - very (very) easy to open now, even with gloves on in wet/slippy conditions.

Is it me, or are they stupidly hard to open? I was resorting to teeth and everything the other day, ...
