Also, one can no longer see who else is wearing the same shoe.:( I liked that function, especially if I was planning to try a new brand - I could have a look at what else people who wore my normal brand were wearing and fmail to ask how they found them in comparison.

I'va followed the shoe-shop mantra of 500-600 miles for road shoes. I now think that's probably too low for me and my running style as they don't appear *that* worn after that mileage, I will probably keep them for longer in future.

I wear them till they have holes in or smell really bad ;)

I do change my insoles about every 1,000 miles or when they fall to bits.

These are lightweight racers which I wear for everything now.

Agree with OP and Tikka - that was a useful feature which I think has fallen down the back of the sofa in the change to the "your kit" area. I hope restoring it is somewhere on the Fetch to-do list.

This is not a thread for folk to post how many miles they get from their own shoes!!

i wish mine last for 1000 miles, i land on the outside of my foot so get a lot of wear so usally between 300-450 miles depending on brand, current6ly have adidas sequence and both pairs have done approx 250 miles and are starting to show signs of old age.

Toria in Alton Sports (as opposed to me, Toria, who spends a vast proportion of her income in Alton Sports) says that you should replace them when you can bend the soles the wrong way quite easily.
