Shackleton: why bother?

(Another reason why the fact above is clearly untrue is that Shackleton defined himself as an 'Irishman' (he was born and mainly brought up in ireland), and hired some Irish crew members.)

I wonder whether that could be marketed as a rpoject worth undertaking?

None of that trapsing about over frozen wastelands with the constant fear of being attacked by rougue penguins. And then there's the food. The only way to get enough calories in you each day is to eat pats and pats of raw butter? Ugh, no thanks.
