Not quite. The first bit is "Massy", and is the local nickname for the place. With the 'cwmmer' bit, the 'w' is a lot like the 'oo' in 'look'.

Just to drag this thread back towards the subject, there'll be another outage coming up at some point. It's an OS upgrade, with consequent upgrades to PHP and Java. I'm pretty much there with updating all the code that this would otherwise break :-)

We'd take at least a year to sign off that we were OK with that level of upgrade. And even then we'd caveat it with "some stuff might not work". And all probably resign just before it went live. You're a much better man Fetch! :-) G

50p a pint? Bloody hell that was expensive. In my college bar it was 26p a pint and that wasn't the cheapest available. Mind you, we are talking nearly half a decade ago.

There's a server update in the early hours of Thursday morning (9th April 2020). The site may be unavailable from 00:01BST through 'til 04:00BST.

Start panic-surfing now, to make sure you're all stocked up.
