The kettle boiled for my tea, just as I was about to put some oil in the pan to fry an onion. I'd already taken the lid off the pot and put the teabag (english breakfast) in, so all i needed to do was add the water. Just how close was I to pouring oil in the teapot........

When I came in from my walk I went straight to the sink and gave my face a good wash to get the sweat off, forgetting that I was wearing glasses instead of contact lenses.

Picked up an apple in the palm of my right hand. Did something else, wondered where I'd put the apple, and picked up another one using my fingers to hold it by the stalk. But there's a merit for not forgetting that I wanted an apple. |
