I turned on the oven to heat up. Put the kettle on. Put my croissants on an oven tray and then with oven tray in my hands opened the fridge and thought somethings not right here.

Fridge not warm enough B ?

I've had a hole in the right hand pocket of my running jacket for a week, keep forgetting to mend it. This morning I put my jacket on and found a hole in my left hand pocket as well. Then I realised that I had the jacket on inside out - I had left it that way to dry from yesterday's run.

Despite having checked the 10km to mile precise figure and setting it as an alarm on my garmin, my addled brain decided that the figure was 6.14 so that's when I stopped it on my virtual 10km race. Short (9.89) Didn't occur to me that the alert hadn't gone off. Gutted.

Took the permanent filter out of the coffee maker and rinsed it. Filled the jug with water and poured it into the machine. Refilled with fresh ground coffee, switched on, moved across to the cupboard to get coffee mugs and spotted the freshly rinsed filter still sitting on the side. Coffee a bit strong and grainy....
