K5 Gus Jul 2019 9:36pm, 5 Jul 2019 3,055 posts	K5 Gus Crieff - starts running across playing fields, then road for 0.6 mile, then trail all the way until 0.4 mile of road near the end. So about 5.2 miles of trail, some of which can be muddy depending on weather. Would be trail shoes, or road shoes with decent grip, for me.

Dvorak Jul 2019 10:53pm, 5 Jul 2019 17,763 posts	Dvorak First year I ran Crieff there was a lot of churned up mud by the time I got to the top of the hill. Trial shoes would have been useful. I was pretty near the back, mind. Second time I ran up chatting with Katypie (faster) and never really noticed it. Gus, you missed the 0.5 miles of grass - seems a laaaang way to the finish across it:-)
