Deinonychus - It's a good race with a great atmosphere. Plus you get a beer and a banana at the finish line!

cheers HappyG - both shoulders have been frozen but don't cause me too much problem other than a limited range of movement. The ankle's been a shorter term problem caused by a stone left from a neighbour's garage development |

That's good that shoulder(s) not a problem Lorraine. Boo to neighbour's building detritus though. Hope ankle is fully healed. So are you going to Dunf parkrun this Sat? I may be there! Be great to see you (and Ian?) G

Edinburgh has a very detailed parking map edinburgh.gov.uk Are you looking for free (onstreet free on Sundays) or paying an arm and a leg? George Square would be good chances probably slim to nane though. I'd probably go for King Stables Road or Castle Terrace (onstreet not the car park!) or George St area. Not close exactly, but about as close as practical. Bruntsfield next choice. With the caveat that not having done the race I havenae experienced the situation on the ground. Though for myself, I'd seriously consider Ingliston, and a tram. |

Edinburgh marathon started on George IV Bridge, but I parked in Queen St (free parking) cos it was on the side of town for coming across from North of the Forth Soapy. Easier to arrive and quicker to leave. It's free parking in most of town on Sundays still. G

I'm car sharing with 4 club mates. I was hoping to find free on street parking on the South Side . Somewhere like St Leonard's Street ??
