Happy New Year, everyone :-). It was, Maz. I'm intending to go and spectate. May even miss parkrun and see the mass run earlier though it would be a laang day, esp if it is cauld. The mass run btw is not on the xc course but from Kings Park up by the castle and back. I ran it yesterday with JulesR and others (kind of, route knowledge was a bit loose). Anyone who entered without really taking in that the castle is up a big hill, weel  There will be at least six waves it seems, paths not that wide. Anyone here running it? What with that and single NYD parkrun (Tollcross, another record turnout) I'm off to a comparatively flying start to 2019 (and a hilly one!). |

So the nearest Parkrun for a pre XC Fetch meet would be Falkirk or Plean.

Plean is much closer, but Falkirk if you don't want an xc parkrun Here is a page with info (maps, timings) on the xc etc. The Castle run will run concurrently with xc, even most of the afternoon. |
