Vogrie is a lovely park, just at south of Edinburgh (wrong side for you guys, but pretty easy to get to) and route is trail, grass mostly. Thanks guys - I didn't need back and wind as excuse. My excuse is a woeful lack of training miles and virtually non-existent speed work. That will do it every time! Onwards and downwards! Must visit Plean and Polkemmet (and St Andrews - it's on our club parkrun winter challenge!) G

I'll look forward to getting along but maybe not for the first one or two. I feel it has potential for quite a bit of congestion at points. Plenty of parking

Not plenty of parking when it's the XC venue Dv. I got a ticket (which I subsequently disputed and they let me off but...) I suppose XC gets a several hundred, rather than 1-200 that a parkrun might get? What will the route be? Is it paths or grass? It's *very* muddy in winter for XC on the grass! G

Two and a bit laps of the loch parkrun.org.uk The start and finish green/red dots on the course map are where we started and finished on the test event, but the course description says start/finish at same place but that definitely didn't happen at the test event! |

Cool Soo, I'm sure it will be fab. It's a lovely campus. Café at the sports centre is great too. Maybe the Scottish Fetch Mile will start up again, as that's where we usually hosted it. Tell me you know about the East District XC on the 19 Oct though, so you aren't panicked by it on the day! G
