I put myself right at the front to ensure I was ok. Still behind two buggies though.

A guid New Year to ane an a' *dram* :-)

500 at Portie! I've had a tbh surprisingly positive running start to 2020. Expected the second part of my double to be a real struggle especially after 9 km yesterday, but instead of 37/38 at TX i was an official 31:16, just a wee bit slower than Strathclyde :-) Although the latter was parkwalk for the first 300m or so, the reverse route definitely showing why the normal direction is better. The new tarmac is very nice.

Bumper turnout and start to the year all over. Polkemmet did fab on their first NYD with 251 turnout. 482 at Livingston later in the morning - a lot doing a West Lothian double.

Just me and the Foo Fighters this afternoon. It was very much needed and the banjaxed shoulder appears to have survived. Thankfully the music very loud in my ears drowned out the heckling from the pissed up smokers outside the local pub.

Stirling Castle run earlier, a bit wet, struggling big time with any hills just now🤬
