good luck with Dumbarton tomorrow shyfire. I was thinking about doing that but didnt think I would make it there after work , but ive not been well since yesterday so would have been off anyway but wudnt have had the energy to run it .

I hope to get out with jogscotland tomorrow night and get a few miles done with them .

Thanks kaiser, Im looking forward to it, leaving work a bit early and carsharing with mad4it so should get across in plenty of time. Hope you feel a bit better and get out for a run tomorrow night.

kaiser and shyfire you def should do Dechmont Law, I was one of the very last runners last year and I'm as slow as treacle, you'll be fine! It honestly wasn't one of those races where folks look down their nose at you for not being elite (I've done a couple of them! nae fun!) and shyfire, you regularly appear on my 'nemesis' list so we could finish it at the same time and screw the system;)

Historic Stiring run

Trying to see if I can get a car load together from Carluke JS. Depends on shifts/children/spouses - all the usual stuff. Contingent will either be me or me and some more .... Incidentaly, this baldy old guy will welcome company towards the back of the pack :-)

I've added the Corstorphine 5 Mile Road Race to the list. I did it last year and would definitely recommend it. it's a nice friendly race with a downhill beginning and end but some uphill bits in the middle :-)

OC, I've only included races situated in Scotland in the header but no there's harm in posting here and letting people know about other races within driving distance.

Upcoming races in Scotland

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
