Thanks for the pics Lorraine. One day someone will take a smiley race photo of me. And katy, surely you can fit one in before Alloa. How about Lasswade again ?

Hmm, it clashes with a planned 20M run, although I always plan to rejig the plans to accomodate long runs I never do and the reality is that I miss them. Shame there's nothing sooner.

KP knowing yourself would you be able to do 10miles before and add Lasswade onto back of those 10 (maybe try some of it at your predicted Mara pace!?)

jacs, I keep looking at the Meadows races as they fit reasonably calander wise but not sure i fancy as many laps of the cobbles.

Welcome to Fetch, Kris. I finally managed to get to a race after 3 DNS and had a nice run round at Lenzie, 2nd lap with Labwalker. Saw SilverBirch and ian9657 as well. Meadows, hmm. Would like to get something in before Alloa.

Well done everyone (and Happy New Year!). I had planned to go through to Lenzie for the race today but a very broken and pain-filled sleep put paid to that. Instead I have been filling up my race portfolio :) Just need to get round to entering the races now ;) Need to renew my SA membership and my new 1st claim club membership first, so maybe need to wait till next payday to enter the later races!

Jacs I was looking at the meadows half marathon as it's on at a good time in my plan but laps of the meadows will be really dull so I most probably will do Inverness half instead.

Upcoming races in Scotland

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
