I like the GSR too, same kind of atmosphere as you had at the Ignis Duchess and its normally a lovely day:)

Yep, Musselburgh 10k at the end of July. You also get an ice-cream cone as well as the amazing cake after the finish line

A great race though - did it last year as my first half and got food poisoning the night before. Add 25C sunshine the next day and those hills made for an interesting first half marathon experience! I'm hoping to improve a lot on last year's time.

Duchess, how about the cumbernauld 10k, my home race! Mostly flat and very friendly, 9th September this year.

I've sent out another fmail at last for the Historic Stirling run, this is the proposed course: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/route-886456. Leisurely pace, all welcome. Hope all the good weather isnae all being used up this week. Can't do Fetchpointing sorry (nightshift :-() but if I wake early I may come up and do random shouting. Good luck all EMFers

parkruns
There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.
Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.
Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
