Camperdown today was brilliant, mostly off road, muddy and a couple of slow meandering but tough climbs. Will be a real strength builder :)

It will be the Jubilee weekend. Myself and 7 other ladies book a chalet at Piperdam every year - you know - the ones with the hot tubs on the balcony :-) now normally it is a food/booze fest but I think i could squeeze this in whilst all the other girls are getting ready for the day and they wont have missed me too much (it takes them ages).

are you thinking of doing it??

Having recovered (!) from last week, I think I need my next challenge. Any suggestions for a nice slow-friendly 10k for the autumn? I've seen the Bupa great Edinburgh run but flinching slightly at the £27 entry fee. I can run an ultra for that. (Well I can't actually but ou know what I mean!)

Musselburgh 10k is a good friendly one Duchess. Or the Scottish Gas 10k at Granton. Both are well organised and welcoming.
