Thats a good idea - we could have a double bill - 5k race, quick snack then a chariots of fire style beach run. Or some putting :)

My first ever Parkrun at the first parkrun in Dundee! Camperdown as always was brutal and I have no big German shepherd to pull me round😞. Lots of familiar faces and a really friendly bunch. I thoroughly enjoyed it and that's me who *hates* running!

I also got my first Parkrun in today, blustery and cold in Strathclyde park Motherwell, but its normally like that so what was I expecting? I really like the fact that it is very flat- when I have done St Andrew's Hospice races there they leave in the "big" hill- so it was a briskerthan normal start to Saturday morning.I've heard that Pollock is more hilly, maybe need to find out now that, like Tigerlily, my 5k motivation button has been pushed.

I'm up for coming out to play at other Parkruns! If there's a train trip even better :) :)

Edinburgh was at it's windy best today! At least it was the 'correct way' in my opinion - tailwind home!

Upcoming races in Scotland

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
