There's a new parkrun starting in Camperdown park, Dundee this Saturday which makes 8 now in Scotland :-)

parkrun.org.uk

It's a barcode only event so make sure you register in advance.

camperdown park would be awesome and really fancy running at st andrews as well. Falkirk is my home run so will need to get up early some saturdays and go for a wee outing

St Andrews is a nice course (3 laps of the park) but you might want to take your trail shoes if it has been raining as there is a section along the grass at the far end that gets pretty soggy when it's wet.
Camperdown park will be nice but possibly a bit lumpy for really quick times

Have to confess to getting up and dressed for Camperdown this morning, then being unable to find my barcode so just going back to bed.

Camperdown will have a long climb on trail up the back of the park but I reckon it will be an excellent course to build strength. Looking forward to getting my teeth into it - racing tomorrow so may have been bad idea to run it today anyway!!

and of course - will need to nip over to St Andrews - its like buses - no parkruns then 2 come at once!!!

St Andrews was fun, enjoyed running it more than I do Edinburgh. Once the train gets going again in the Summer we should maybe have a Fetch morning out in St Andrews with a Parkrun and a picnic .... and a shot on the train :-)

Upcoming races in Scotland

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
