Well you'll be welcome either way. Register in town hall (high street) then start and finish at Benromach Distillery.

Is the distillery far from the town hall?

Bit wild coming over the moors from Aviemore today in the driving sleet but weather should be much better tomorrow. Nice downhill warmup from town hall to distillery. Not sure what it is about this race other than the wind but I've had my worst 10k time both of the last 2 years. Dead flat and a nice quiet road too.

It's a lovely day here in Forres.

Yes 57DoP - it's the toughest flat course ever. It's as flat as a pancake but not a pb fest for some reason - weird.

STOOSH
Well, myself and lou made it up yesterday!!
Pancake flat as you say but legs died before I hot the last 2m headwind. Nice course though and i reckon would be very fast on a calm day...in the end I was glad to get round.
Didn't make it back to the town hall as we had to shoot off back to aviemore but hopefully we'll get back up north ay some point for another race over the summer!

We always welcome unfamiliar runners up north Stoosh, mostly we see the same old faces race after race! We'd probably have had a pretty good race yesterday looking at your time.

The Dyke 10k is a particularly friendly race, on a course that was surprisingly fast for a very windy day last year.
