Absolute blast. We narrowly avoided the asbos. Was a hoot, had a blast. That's it. Phew.

Happy, the Harment race is most certainly NOT doable, its the day after Edinburgh marathon and climbing the one step to my own front door will be a challenge !

I've avoided the Rigg race in the past as it's been the day after Edinburgh but I did it last year when it was rearranged to later in the year due to the high winds in May. Killer first couple of hills and enjoyable after that :-)

Seven hills is simply the best race I've ever done, it's really enjoyable with lots of long flat stretches through Edinburgh interspersed with mad scrambles, quad busting climbs and an extinct volcano at 13 miles, what more could you want in a race :-)

goes round the rigg, jambomo, you've probably run it as one of the club runs (maybe in reverse) as from what I hear the club runs it a lot

up past the SSPCA and instead of going into the Pentlands turn right and along the Rigg, when you get to the end turn right and head back down to the start/finish

TD, your link takes me to my own routes?

Rigg Race sounds like "fun". Not sure it would be sensible less than two weeks before Strathearn though... Is it trails or road once you're out of Balerno?
