Meadows Self Transcendence is still my 2 mile PB (I've never actually seen another 2 mile race ever!) Well, I appear to have entered 7 Hills Of Edinburgh (anyone want to guide me round on a gentle plod n nosh gentle ambling day out?) and Loch Ness mara (this will not be an amble, if I am spared injury, this will be my target for 2012). Gav, there is a 2 mile race in Dunfermline run by Carnegie Harriers in Pittencrief Park. But if you have set your PB on the (flat) Meadows, the Dunfy one is hilly so you won't beat it here.

what date is the 7 hills ? have always wanted to do it but never managed as its too close to edinburgh marathon and I have never done enough hill training - would like to one year

parkruns
There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.
Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.
Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
Other races (December 2012)
