Every year I plan on doing the Portie Prom. Maybe 2013 :-P. But I am going to have a bash at getting to Lenzie - great wee race when I did it before (even if I did manage to miss the finish and keep going.)

Woke up this morning with a sharp pain behind my left knee. Hopefully it should be OK for a run later on or tomorrow but I'm not going to risk it by racing on it this morning so I'm going to give Porty a miss today. I hope you all have a great time :-)

Not a huge surprise GWil as I ran 36 miles earlier this week to try and hit my 1000 mile target for 2011. My legs were feeling a bit tight all day yesterday but I was hoping a might's rest would free them up. Was the whisky just a dream or was it real?

Upcoming races in Scotland

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
