That sounds like a fab idea, Dvorak - count me in. And prepare for having to explain everything from scratch. ;-)

Your on to a great idea there Dvorak. I run some of that route when i run to work. Nice plan would be to start at Uni then head up tourist path to Wallace monument, down the front off road path and cross road to Cambuskenneth, through Riverside and head up to Castle taking in one of the many uphill routes up past the cannons and old rown jail, across car park of Castle to an opening which takes you downhill towards Kings park, through Kings park then head towards Torbrex and go over flyover bridge to Polmaise road, head up there half way then turn off to Tinkers loan which is a lovely off road downhill to Chartershall which is at the back of Bannkckburn heritage centre then i'm trying to think of a nice way back into town to head over the Old Brig bridge back to Uni. Yes i have been pondering this idea. Like an open top bus tour with trainers on :)

That route would probably be round about half marathon distance Star. Don't quote me in that though. Cutting out Bannockburn would make it shorter.
