Grangemouth was 10k PB for me every year I ran it - 2008, 09 an 11. Didnt do it 2010 as baby was only couple / 3 months old an I wasn't up to 10k distance at the time.

Thinking to enter as 10k I'd planned early April has been cancelled....... Hmmm......

Surely the gas stench as good a reason as any to grab that PB then! :-) Never done it myself but it just might "fit" in plans this year for bit of a blast. :-)

I'm prob out of grangemouth and alloa too. grangemouth is stewarts grand prix, like Stirling, flat as pancake perfect for PB. Good luck all at meadows n lasswade. :-)G

My 10k PB is from Grangemouth, too - but I don't think I'll enter it again any time soon. Most soul-less race I've done. Its only redeeming feature was bumping into Dvorak in the carpark. :-)

Wintee - you're right. Grangemouth is a good PB course - both times I've run I've managed a PB. There are only two hills, both are bridges going over the railway.

And if you like chemical plants, this is the 10k for you. ;-)

btw, it has 414/850 places still available, with entry closing on 21st March. I'll probably not do it due the D33 the previous weekend, but then again...

Agree with Spicey on this race it's one I won't enter because of the same reason, would rather just ramble round my own routes than view this boring route, Sorry, hope those who have entered enjoy the day.
