FREE MEADOWS (half) MARATHON PLACE! I can't run at the mo, due to injury. I've contacted Meadows Marathon people, and they say they'd be happy to transfer place to someone else. Free, because it is a charity anyway and I'm happy to donate £15 to a good cause. You'll need to buy me a cake or pint if/when I see you though! Please fmail me or email gavin_orr - at - yahoo - dot - com if you want the place. I'm not online much at the mo. Cheers, :-)G |

Thanks - I have to run it now though. First timed run in 15 months. Truth be told, I'm a tad anxious ......

Can you add the Jack Crawford 10k on the 10th of March (and my name to it too!) please? I might or might do the Nigel Barge Memorial 10k too (24/03), or Grangemouth. |

Just signed up for Round the Houses. Has anyone who's done it before got any comments? Any good for a PB - from what they say, it looks like it, nice and flat.

I think it is good - I do sometimes opt for doing a long run round Grangemouth due to its flatness

Yes, but the gas mask you need to wear tends to add a bit to your time
