Yes I might come through as well lw . "Dodge the stones and eat the scones " will be my survival approach for this one .

Can someone save me a scone at the end, will be my first run in ages & have been inactive & Xmas indulging .... on second thoughts maybe should give the scones a miss ;-)

Good luck in the race Shyfire . Its a good wee race and I'd recommend it as long as you watch where you put your feet on the firetrack . No time like the present to blow away the cobwebs and set yourself a wee challenge :-) go for it ! . Lets hope the weather holds up for it ...

Edinburgh looking ok, 1 tree down near the start of the finishing path. If it`s still there on Saturday I reckon a wee diversion will be in place

Spectating at the Great Winter Run was fun this morning, we saw RicC, Scottynbn and JaneyM running past. Sorry if I didn't recognise anyone else but hopefully we gave you a cheer. We were just past the 3 km sign at the start of the big downhill bit.

watched the championships this afternoon and it looked sunny but a bit blowy so well done to all the fetchies who ran this morning. Team GB ladies did very well.

Thanks TripletDad it was nice to be spotted - and I was even out of Fetchie gear! It was great having a wee cheer. :) Was a great run - nice day not too windy :)

Upcoming races in Scotland

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
