It's only £18 a year for Scottish Athletics membership Star. 9 races and it's paid for itself and you get a nice quarterly magazine. :-)G

I havent been following this thread for ages and I really should as my running has been total pants in the last 6 months.

Fingers crossed for Devilla being on again next year. Really enjoyed this year. I entered the Inverness half the other night in a moment of madness. Bargain price of £20 until today if you've got SA membership :-)

I think you're being a bit "brand loyal" to the mag. It usually has one article about road/XC/ultra and the rest is track, throws and jumps so it takes about 5 mins maximum to read.

Maybe I should start getting a bit more serious and racing more - don't think I've ever run any more than 5 races in a year!

HappyG, I joined JogScotland instead with Gold membership. A bit more expensive, but you get a bit more for your money; Scottish Athletics membership, free T-Shirt, Discounts for Run4It and other running shops, two magazines (SA and JogScotland) and some other stuff. Think it was about £25 if I remember right.

Very good SF. Think it's similar however you join. If you join a club (c. £20-£25) then SA membership is £18, but £32 if you have no club. So if you add it all up, it comes to prob £30 odd quid a year for everyone!

May, it's got pics of all our pals in it. Adrian Stott, Ian Beattie, all these top types! Such a shame if it was dropped, no? :-)G

I suspect the updating of the entire Scottish Race Calendar in the header above is going to fall by wayside if TD, our thread admin, is taking up new responsiblities as per his blog/FB updates! Good luck TD! :-)G
