Jedburgh is 15 minutes drive south of my house down the A68, quite a nice town to be honest. I haven't run the 10k but i've run the half. The 10k is just a shortened version of the half, out and back. Got a bit of a hill at the beginning and end otherwise flat. You need to go to the Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Jedburgh if you want a Costa The organisers also have a 38 mile trail ultra on the same day for the first time, i'm doing that instead

Smout ran the Jedburgh 10k a couple of years ago (I ran the half). That was back when she was still running like a normal person, you know, before she decided to go elite.

Lol Spike ! You did make me proper snort just then Aye - I turned up late an missed the (luckily chipped) start by quite a bit. An my PB by 40 seconds. I didn't want to cross the start till I found someone to dump my car keys an phone with ( to the rescue Mrs Rentboy - who I hadn't actually met before) Be sure you're ready to double back on the other side of the road at the marshal an no run on with the half folks! The hill towards the end would be interesting if you pushed the 1st few km too much. I didn't - I had the entire half an 10k field to keep me in check. Once I actually caught them up. Did the half a few years ago too I'll be running round the toon moor 5 times instead this year Lol star. My nephew has recently moved there an I now have a great nephew to vist sometime. Maybe I'll look up that race.... Tho with hell in the name mibbe no! |

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.
Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.
Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
