.. maybe one thing to note is that with the Harmeny race that a guest may finish first but doesn't 'win' as the prizes go to club members

I thought we had prizes for guests too Lorraine? Hmmm, don't think I attended last year. There was definitely a "slow" and "fast" group prize (so that first timers with pessimistically estimated 10K times didn't win all the prizes!)

I told Scotty he'd get a medal. medal did I lie about that too?! :-)G

the year I ran it I got the medal but didn't get a prize for being first home (woz disappointed as had had about my bestest race ever :-( )

I think there were four prizes - first high handicap male and female club members, first low handicap male and female club members

I`ll be at the WOL 10k race. I`m a WOL Half Marathon regular, so the 10k should be even more fun :-)

Upcoming races in Scotland

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
