I should add that the pubs in Killin are still pretty good for a post race pint ;-).

Since we're talking about the last weekend in August, can I do a shameless plug for the Melrose Road Race (13.1 km) on Sunday, 26th August? melroserace2012.tumblr.com Organised by our very own The Rentboy and Mrs Rentboy. Those of you who have been to either of the two previous Melrose races know what a fabulous job they do. It'll be a cake and Fetch fest! :-) Entries close on 12th August.

Your Princessness, I`m maybe doing Musselburgh (will decide before entry deadline) and def not doing Scottish gas 10k :-) While you`re battling your cold I`m battling a foot/ankle niggle

Oh no, the ankle you hurt on the hills or the other one? My foot seems to have been healed by running through the icy water at cramond on Saturday so ice pools are the way for me when I feel it niggling.

The cold has gone and I've been in the boring gym for a few days this week :)

I think my pops is going to sign up for Musselburgh too.

Great, that`s more incentive to be there! I`ve just had a gentle jog, hope to do some DERG tomorrow eve and maybe snoozerun on Saturday. And yes...it`s the one I kncakered at the 7 Hills. Thought I had got away with it but c`est la vie!

Can I be added to the Musselburgh 10k too please?

Any Marathon Talk listeners out there thinking of doing a Scottish Magic Mile? I'd hoped the qualifying period would fit in with a Meadows 1 mile race in Edinburgh but alas no...

oooh Melrose sounds like a possible SA, thanks, wouldn't have found it without you! Could do with a wee run between the Forth Bridge and the Glasgow Half;)

No snoozerun for me tomorrow as got to go to workplace in order to fund my lavish lifestyle. lol. Perhaps some kind of urban hilly longer than 5 mile run on Sunday for me instead.
