Fraserfish, I did Strathearn a few weeks ago. There were about 115 starters and I had the same concerns as you, so was pleasantly surprised to find out that most of the time, there was someone else in sight. And I also realised that I enjoyed running completely by myself when there was no-one else around even more. :-o

Enjoyed fetch mile today well done Happy Grrr taking times, and to all the runners who showed up, as always in awe of the fast runners and wish it was me:-)

Can you add me to Musselburgh 10km, Helensburgh half marathon & Broadwood 5km please, sub 40, sub 90 and sub 20 would go down very nicely.

By talking at you for 3.5 hours I saved you wasting your breath having to answer or talk at all. If it were an Olympic sport, I could be an Endurance Talker. All sh*te of course, but that's allowed within the rules.

Cammy, I'm likin your style there. We've gotta to state our goals as well as the races we've entered. Good plan! Go for it!! :-)G

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
