I have now entered the Crieff 10k. though bearing in mind I am not exactly match fit - so who knows how I will get on!!

SA - if you are able to get to Stirling train station I could pick you up and drop you off. My kids will be away on hols with their Dad so I should have nothing else to worry about but getting there!

Thank you, Star x! That's very kind of you. :-) Is it ok if I let you know nearer the time? It would be quite an expensive day out with travelling quite far plus race entry, so need to ponder it first. I'll also have a training course in the evening, of which I don't know yet at what time it starts... Thank you for offering though! :-)

Latest entrant list just published for DRAM/Half DRAM on Sunday 29th July 840+ entries in - 1,000 limit - from the entrants list it looks like there's around 100 in the full marathon and 700+ in the half.

Hi there, does anyone know if entries for the Brig Bash 5 mile race are still open or if entry on the night is possible?

GerryO, according to their website you can enter on the day for an extra £1, although they do encourage pre-entry as it makes it easier to organise.

Thanks TD, I get nervous about entering on the day as I missed a race that I had got myself very worked up about once. However, the race limit is 250 and last year's entry was just over 200- maybe just have to get there early.

My old club organise the Brig Bash and there are entries on the night. I hope someone else takes over the making of the cheese'n'pickle sarnies this year!

The route consists mostly of my old 3 mile loop. Don't know if I want to go back and do it or not, might be too upsetting...

I was thinking about dram for my first marathon, however if there is only 100 folks signed up it sounds very lonely at the back for poor ol' me. Sniff sniff!
