Well done all on good runs at the Glasgow 5k!

TD, for all the time I've been on Fetch, I still struggle to add race listings... Will have another look at it later on.

" The Dumfries Half Marathon is due to take place again on 23rd September at 11am starting at The Crichton immediately outside Dumfries and Galloway College. With entry fees of £16/18 including technical T-shirt and medal, it is a bit of bargain. It is a net downhill undulating course which takes on stunning views of the Solway firth. In my humble opinion it is definitely one not to be missed. Entries can be made on www.entrycentral.com or application forms can be downloaded on www.dumfriesrunningclub.org.uk

It's a great race. I did it as a "training at MP long run" a couple years back. It's got a couple of reasonable climbs in it, but then it's got downhills too. A long downhill then flat to finish. Lovely scenery, friendly marshalls, great scran at end. Also, a mug not a medal. You can use mugs. I like dat! :-)G

I went on to check out the Glasgow Grinders 10k to discover its been cancelled :-O I'll be doing the Inverclyde 5k then lol

Upcoming races in Scotland

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
