Errr, no I wasn't! Haven't run a timed mile since jan 2010. Not sure I can go very fast, and need to be careful not to try and go too fast, as a mile is what crocked me for nearly a year in 2010. However, would be able to be in a team if it wasn't for best times / PBs. :-)G

Well you can go 6 of them at 6mm pace so for most on here if you did one of them that would be pretty fast big cuz G :-)

Sadly I will be out of the country, so cannot take part....and for the record I have never run a timed mile...logged 5:45 or thereabouts in a set of mile reps once which is probably my fastest I can recall - just nor something I have ever tried to do

Great :-) Although I might miss it due to other stuff.

(I took myself round the Scottish Mile track of yore on Sunday - no PB but faster than I have been, so I need another 'proper' mile.)

I appreciate the sworn reluctance of most "Scottish " fetchies to venture West of the Mason Dixon Line at Stirling , but you guys missed a great event at Strathclyde this morning...A flat point to point course ( We opted to run with a tailwind ) , ideal conditions and a winning time of 5 06....!

Sounds good Zorbs. Some good "proper" AC racing across in the west. Must try and overcome nosebleeds and get across for some. :-)G

This is for the Summer 2013 Fetch mile. There are various venue options, including A slopey grass track in Dollar , Edinburgh, East Kilbride, Stirling and Inverness. Failing all this, you can come run the mile race at my local Highland games on 20th July :)
