A brisk field at Kirkie: nobody over 1:10 chip time, median time 47:54. Just as well I never entered ![]() That's quite a run by someone round the parkruns! Years back I floated the idea of all the runs*, but certainly not running between them. *Seven at the time, including Strathclyde, with trains between. And different arrival/departure stations. |

The swift arrival of Inverness and Aberdeen events made running between them all a bit difficult from the very early days through. |

That's right, I went and ran at Falkirk one year with those doing it (about 7pm I think); and I was also at Strathclyde when the actual parkrun was the last one done. I think the next year they went over to Northern Ireland and did it there. |

Been thinking of must do Scottish races I’ve done recently, Dumyat Hill Race, Black Rock 5, Seven Hills of Edinburgh, WoL half marathon, Edinburgh to North Berwick. Some I’ve done that no longer exist, like the Southside Six and the Barrathon. I’d maybe add the XC at Cumbernauld & Callendar Park. Can’t really be bothered to train for anything much longer than a half these days. Anyone got any others they can think of? |

Kyles in a good one, done that. Loads of good half marathons on the islands too. Ten miles around Cumbrae. |
