Excellent! All you need to do now is demolish that footbridge and lay a flat road plate across the stream! Seriously, though, props to the race team for these course improvements. I know some people were a bit lukewarm about the out-and-back section, but it was a very sociable mile or two at a point where everyone is beginnning to spread out a bit. I really enjoyed it!

Just picked up the email - thanks. I see that I announced a 2:30 target on the entry form - in fact, having read something "Gobi" wrote recently, I'm going to try and be disciplined and use this as a paced training run. I'm thinking of trying something like 5x8:30, 5x8:10, 5x7:50, 5x7:30 (7:30 being target marathon pace) and seeing how it goes. It is, however, incredibly tempting to go out and race the whole thing ...

Wow - superb winning time. Natural talent, combined with hard work clearly pays off. Am pleased with my finish time, outs me roughly about where I need to be for now.
