Running jackets - worth it?

I have looked at the OMM Kamleika, especially as I may well end up doing the OMM next year, but its just too expensive to justify running round the streets in. I just want something to add an extra bit of protection on a long run over the winter. Thanks for everyones thoughts. Its putting me off getting the ronhill one anyways!

It's good enough to run in sleet and high winds, but I wouldn't trust it or anything else for running far from shelter in that kind of weather. Eventually it lets the wetness through but not so fast I don't warm it up!

Caterpillar Oct 2012 3:27pm, 9 Oct 2012 7,000 posts	0 Caterpillar I have a jacket that has absolutely ZERO waterproofing quality. It seems to suck water in and drip it on your skin, and it sucks warmth out at the same time. Don't get one of these.
