Apart from the seemingly ever popular Jelly Babies, what do other people consume on their runs? Here are my favourites: fellrunningguide.co.uk |

isn't that big tub at the back a little bulky for carrying on a run?

I like a Clif Bar. Obviously there's the usual els mallarkey as well. However, recent developments in the world of my bowels have caused me to need to find something which hits the mark which is savoury. I can't carry Marmite sandwiches or a pork pie with me, unfortunately.

Homemade kendal mint cake (google for easy recipe). I put a bit of salt in mine, seems to make it more palatable. I like the way it collapses in the mouth, easier to get down when racing.
