Running belts with little water bottles on them. Which one have you found to be best?

I have a Fuel Belt Helium 4 which is a really nice water belt, but recently I've swapped it for a Camelpak with a single large bottle on the back because I lost too much weight and the fuel belt no longer fit. I am surprised to say that I don't even notice the new belt upon a long run so would recommend either.

I am resurrecting this thread. After my "hitting the wall" last week I want to try running my next marathon with more gels, sweets, liquids and think a belt would be a good way to carry them. Do any of you have recommendations? Thanks

I've come to prefer the vests over the waist-bouncy-belts but that's for carrying water too. If I only want snacks then a flip belt is enough

I’m interested to know too, I need to get something sorted out for longer runs in the warmer weather. I feel a hydration vest is OTT for anything but the properly long runs and I really cannot stand using a handheld bottle.

I have a Nathan water belt but I can’t get on with it - the bloody thing keeps wanting to do a slow orbit around my waist.

Spibelt. The ultra one that’s got two clip on bottles. Really brilliant piece of kit.

I have a flipbelt, I wonder if my Nathan bottles will work with it?

I have a karrimor belt: two small bottles (180 ml I think), two elastic straps for gels, and a zip pocket. My only gripe with it, is it seems to be designed for large people!

I just carry a 500ml plastic water bottle. Got so used to it, I feel I am missing something if I don't take it on shorter runs.
More often than not, it comes back unused ...

Got something to say?
