Is anybody planning on running a marathon this year to bag a GFA entry for next year? Seems you had to have your entry in my mid July for a sub 3:10 for blokes, has anybody done this or planning to do this, if so which marathon are you looking at?

London 2013 I'll be 41, but I did 3.13 in Paris this year when I was 40. Does anyone know if this will count or do I need a sub 3.10 this year? I've got Berlin but not until too late (sept). Can do Boddington but July 1st and doesn't start until 11.15 so doubtful to be very fast as likely to be very warm or hot. looking at last year only 50% finished, let along pb'd.

Yip, as paul a says Matt, that works. I was in same boat in 2009 (my first sub 3:15) for 2011 mara. Remember to get your forms in by Fri 27 July (this Friday) if you are going for GFA for VLM 2013. :-)G |
