Yep - I've been barged on to the road by our local running club's Thursday night 'fast' group on two occasions in the past. I had no idea that it would be so common...

Going back a bit I heard on the news it was she herself who tried to speak to him when he came back round but he ignored her.
It is hard when you bare running in a group but surely if you seeing someone coming towards who clearly isn't going to get out your way you just then tuck in and run single file and the same if you are walking 2 or 3 abreast and see someone or more running towards you

I think that any attempts to try to rationalise the runner's clearly criminal actions aren't helping the running community. I do understand that it is so inexplicable that we try to find alternative scenarios but there really aren't any to be found here.

He might be at this Saturday's Thames Meander (Kingston to Putney). Just make sure you're not around him where there's no railing between the footpath and the river.
