I bet there a re a lot of people your age who would love to be doing what you do Steve

Glad the cardiologist didn't see anything immediately concerning and hope they get some answers soon

Gentle exercise must surely be a positive thing both mentally and physically

Steve45. That's good news from the specialist. Hopefully the wait for the scan isn't too long and comes back with nothing to worry about too.

Thanks everyone.
Knocked out 111 miles this month and pushing on to the 1,000 mile target for the year with 90 miles to go. Of course won't stop there but will do a bit less ... because I hate the winter!!
Just 2.2 miles at 20/30 again and a bit faster than yesterday . Dark and quite chilly out there at 6am.

steve45 111 miles in a month is huge! My mileage has dropped significantly from last year, I that doubt I’ll get to 1,000 miles.

Thanks lin50, a hundred a month has been my target for donkeys years but I might re evaluate for next year and go for 150 a month.
😂😂....of course I won't!
6.3 miles this morning with a slightly adjusted ratio of 25/25 which gave me a better overall time than last week on the same route doing 30/35. Almost two minutes quicker.

Parkrun today.

27.35min. Felt awful like both calfs were going to explode. I really should do stretches. 🤔

Last minute decision to do parkrun…went out of the house in a rush and lining up at the start realised I had different trainers on each foot 😂🥳 Left foot in Adidas and right foot in Hoka! Run/walk with no planned ratios, started 4/1 3/1 then 60/30 and last mile at 30/30. All 3 miles very similar paces (10.51 11.00 10.55). Garmin time 33.43.

Parkrun time of 40:07 this morning doing 2/1; this is the same route as I did earlier this week in 42:34 :)
I'll try to knock those pesky 7 seconds off next time!

With a time like that I think I'll try odd shoes lin50!
Well done GMedals, it's surprising how long 7 seconds can feel!
Three miles in pouring rain and 25/25 early today was nice! Time irrelevant for me at the moment.

Just under 10 miles. Warm-up, 90 minutes at Run:Walk 210:90, then cool-down.
