Tikka, I think if I stick closer to the mileage it might keep me going as I donā€™t usually run 7 days a week and last time I tried it I was doing more and lasted about 2 weeks :-(

And remember LG on the 1-3km days just do that. I run after the kids more than that. Also you can get a virtual rest day by running AM then doing PM.

I will feel itā€™s a waste to change into running gear for 1 - 3k so they might get done early morning before Iā€™m even awake ;-)

Lip Gloss, that's how I feel too - if I have to make the effort to put on my kit and get out the door, I want to make it worth my while. I set myself a target of a minimum of 3 miles on the easy days, and so far I've managed to run at least 4 miles per run. I think you will surprise yourself - pre lockdown I used to take at least one rest day a week but now I don't think about taking a rest day, an evening run has become second nature.

I should qualify all of the above by confessing that running every day has made me a lazy ruuner, in that I havenā€™t run any further than 6 miles at any one time, hence my apprehension and mental block about Tuesdayā€™s 11K!

A chilly 5 miles done... but I wore more layers so felt very comfortable.

Lip Gloss... I'm with you on the anything less than 3 miles is a waste of effort changing into running gear. I think there have only been two days when I've done less than three miles - and one of them I already had training gear on as I came out of my Pilates classes and went straight into a run.

Tikka - don't forget you have to do more than 6 miles to get to 10K as well :-) I'd hate for you to miss off the extra 0.22 miles to take you up to 10K on the penultimate day!

Iā€™ve done several 10Ks, Nell, so Iā€™m okay with that, itā€™s going up to 7m thatā€™s daunting after months of not bothering!

I thought I was a night owl but your late night runs are commendable!

I must admit on some of the days Iā€™ve just run in whatever I had on. Is that just being lazy?

Lazy and running can't be used in the same sentence šŸ˜. I tend to use the shorter run days as speed sessions and anything over 7k now tends to need two runs
