Well done to everyone who made it, and commiserations to anyone who had to drop out for any reason.

Even though I was in Rome, I was thinking about you all - I was in St Peter's Square at mid-day listening to the Pope's weekly address, and he prayed for "... anyone struggling, or going through difficult times ..." - quite apt, I thought

I look as if I'm actually enjoying myself - maybe I am. Either that or I'm grimacing with pain :-)

Thanks for the pic Bigleggy, and for Fetchpointing. Are we going to see you next year at the start line (and of course, the finish) :-)

PLB - nope, not planning on any more marathons. Just took up too much time last year.

Maybe when the kids are older but for now 13.1 miles is as far as I plan to go - Liverpool Half next March :-)
