I got a PB too, what a great race - very well organised and Kassidy were amazing - we stayed right to the end. Didn't see Fetchies at the beginning though - so busy. Saw a few at the end though. Great day out!!!!! :)

You too Kimbles67 - did I read that you had a PB too???There were loads of Fetchies got PB's and SB's - I reckon we were all just panicking about being left behind and passed by the bus that we all just ran like the clappers - LOL :)

everyone I know got a negative split so the second half must have been nicer than the first, there did seem to be a lot of downhilll and flat after we got over the hump round Arthurs seat

I didn't realise that a woman was the overall winner, how fantastic was that.

Re: Ultracat/Kimbles - I saw that on twitter followed by a comment along the lines of 'Yeah well all the good Scottish runners stayed away because of the price so no wonder a woman won it'. Super. Real nice!

ANYWAY. I had a great race and got a 6 min PB of 2:01. I really enjoyed the course and the support was fabulous - thanks to everyone who came out along the route and shouted Go Fetch! Running through the city centre was amazing - I might need to do the Edinburgh 10k just to be able to do that again, I really enjoyed it. The organisation for the most part seems spot on but I can't believe how many people are not on the results!! Hope they will be able to sort that as that is a massive faux pas.
