That's why I'd go slower next time! It was all a bit of a blur really! I have friends who did it who are much better cyclists than I'll ever be and they pottered round in about 7:45 to 8 hours and I'm sure they enjoyed it more.

At what point does it become necessary to take the sticker off my helmet? I biked to the gym yesterday on my 20+yr old Diamondback and got some funny looks, but then realised I still had the sticker on my helmet and I bet they thought, "she didn't, not on that old rust bucket".

Last week I only peeled off the helmet sticker from the last triathlon I did (August 2011!)

No, you don't. I haven't taken it off mine yet. I will probably take it off after I go to spin class tomorrow and show off my whopping great big medal.

I managed to have race numbers attached to my bike for what seemed like forever a few years ago. They only got removed when I had to put numbers on for the same event the next year. Fortunately they weren't mahoosive in your face numbers!

When do we have to take the medal off though? :-)

I have taken my medal off but it is in my bag and comes out at every opportunity - although I did manage to catch it and break it on the train home. all fixed now :-)

Mine's in my handbag and I've already popped in to work to do something that needed doing and waved it about a bit. I'm actually not really back at work until school starts again, but it had to be done.

I entered all of the comps at the expo and have just found out that we have one VIP Tickets to the final of the The Tour Of Britian from Skoda. Very happy with that
