The Bedfont Lakes parkrun team would like to wish a special couple "Bon Voyage". Charlie and Paul who are very much part of the parkrun family will soon be departing the UK on their new adventure - and moving to Canada. Although we will be very sad to see them leave, we are extremely happy for them both.

Charlie and Paul have been a great support to the Bedfont team and runners alike - myself and other beginners have been supported and encouraged around the course whilst others have been paced and raced to the finish line (THANK YOU BOTH).

For those of you that like stats, Charlie has clocked up 176 parkruns with over 100 at Bedfont (officially 98 as sometimes the barcode didn't quite make it out of bed on a Saturday) and Paul has clocked up 94 parkruns with 76 of them at Bedfont (shame those weekend shifts got in the way).

So on behalf of everyone at Bedfont Lakes, we wish you all the very best for the future and your new life in Canada.

Best wishes from Gabbana (Event Director) and the Bedfontos
