That wiped out feeling, I think, is quite common after cancer treatment Edina :( I finished my RT last May and I am still finding it very hard. Doesn't matter if I run half a mile, a mile or 5 miles, I struggle!

I spoke to another runner recently who had cancer, and she said she found it hard going too.

So that's at least three of us!

I Started ipilimumab immune anti cancer boosting therapy again in March. I got various auto immune side effects most notably imfalmation of guts causting perpetual loose bloody motions yuk sorry! I lost 10kg since but cancer seems stable so not all bad. I also knocked out my pituitary so have to have steroids - was on 150mg IV now just on 75 mg orally but not maintaining my blood pressure above 95 so I get dizzy and my normal heart resting heart rate of 40 is back but as soon as I exercise it goes too fast. But slow jogging/walking has resumed so things are processing. Got the bike out- 2 flat tyres! Sorted now and slow rides started. Hopefully I will put on muscle rather than fat- muscle just dropped off when i was really sick. Good luck to everyone else. Carpe diem

Just about to start training after 15 week out with Bowel Cancer. Still on Chemo so I'm joining a club to train indoors - with the chemo I'm on I can't do the cold. Looking for to my 8th Lincoln 10K in April!

Anyone out there want some support? I'm thinking about getting a group sorted.
