Anyone know of any residential, up to a week say, learning to cycle with confidence courses. Not for me, for a work colleague. She's thinking of some bootcamp rubbish for fitness but IMHO would be better off gaining more cycle confidence and learning to ride to work. Needs to cater for middle aged overweight ladies, not racing snakes.

They are not residential but it's worth contacting your/her local council as some of them do cycle courses for adults e.g. the Bikeability course.

Also not residential but there are a couple of courses around here run by bike organisations and I think one by a bike shop (Cambridge area).
