I've just finished the only two books in the house that I haven't already read, so I need some more reading material for the few minutes a day I'm not on Fetch, especially as I might have a bit of time to kill in a tent at TR24 is this weather continues.

I'll go on to Amazon today to buy some if someone can recommend me a couple of good ones.

It doesn't have to be about running. I'd just rather it wasn't about the SAS or shagging.

Long before the movie, I really really enjoyed Salmon Fishing In The Yemen - it was so good that I haven't been to see the film cos I didn't want it to spoil the book for me.

I could recommend you one about the SAS AND shagging, if that would help? :-)

On the running side I'd recommend the Ghost Runner by Bill Jones and two I've just read, Silent Gesture by Tommie Smith and the John Carlos story. Of the two Smith's is more comprehensive although both are interesting if you want to find more out about them and they subject matter.

Oh yes, the Bunion Derby, about that bimble a few Americans did back in the 30s from Los Angeles to New York. Eminently readable, fascinating, but no, it's not inspired me to do it, thankfully...
